“Naatu Naatu” was already making waves at the International level as it also won the Golden Globes Award in the Best Original Song category and not just the song but the movie is also getting a lot of love from the global audiences.

The 95th Academy Awards ceremony took place at the Dolby theatre, Los Angeles, and the song “Naatu Naatu” was introduced by none other than the very famous Indian actress Deepika Padukone who has worked in a couple on international projects as well. Deepika looked gorgeous in the Louis Vuitton classic off-shoulder gown and she was praised by many including the other celebs such as Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, etc. for her graceful style and the elegant manner in which she carried herself on the stage.

However, one incident has left the Indians in a bad taste and the media company which is responsible for it is Getty Images.

Getty Images misidentified Deepika Padukone with the Brazilian model and designer Camila Alves who is married to American actor Matthew McConaughey.

This didn’t go well with the Indian fans and they slammed the media house heavily. Many feel that it is impossible to misidentify Deepika Padukone and this act by the media company is an act of racism.

An Indian news portal also reported in this regard and as per this news portal, not just Getty Images but APF and Vogue also made the same mistake.

How can these media houses make such a stupid mistake? Ridiculous!
