Arvind Kejriwal and his party made many promises to the people of Delhi while campaigning for the state elections and here is a list of some achievements that they claim to achieve:

1. The AAP government claims to build 8,000 new classrooms which is equivalent to nearly 200 schools. They have also made 21 new school buildings and equipped 54 schools with state-of-the-art facility.

2. They put a control on the dictatorship of private schools and stopped them from charging exorbitant fees from parents of students.

3. The govt. developed 36 multispecialty hospitals out of which six are Super Specialty Hospitals. What’s more, 10 of them have blood banks which also have the facility of storage of blood. They have provided 11,000 new beds in 69 private hospitals which are under EWS category. Out of these 11,000 beds, 731 are free beds. A lot has been done for the health of citizens as 107 Aam Aadmi Mohalla clinics and 43 mobile clinics have also been set up.

4. The charges of Water and Sewer Development have been reduced considerably and nearly 12,56,883 domestic water connections have got benefitted from the free water supply of 20,000 litres per month. Total number of active users has increased to 21.66 Lakh from 19.20 lakh and the government is trying to provide them bi-monthly billing options.

5. The government has restrained from increasing electricity charges. 50% subsidy in bills is given to the customers who use electricity up to 400 units and for the year 2016-17, a huge amount of Rs. 1600 crore was allocated for this subsidy.

6. 197 night shelters were made which give shelter to nearly 16,174 people.

7. Rescue teams are formed to bring homeless people in the shelters, especially in the winters.

8. The Odd-Even rule was implemented to control the increasing pollution in the capital.

9. As many as 34 toilet complexes with 957 WC seats are either renovated or built.

10. 18 Protection Officers who represent all the districts of the capital are appointed by Women and Child Department for making sure that Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 is implemented effectively. The govt. has also implemented Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 for the welfare of women.
