Delhi Man Went To Celebrate Valentine’s Day With Facebook Friend & Got Killed

Celebrating Valentine’s Day turned out disastrous for a 27 year old married man named Ishwar Singh as he was first beaten and then thrown from the balcony of his girlfriend’s flat by her relatives. The incident took place in the Sushant Lok area, Gurgaon, where Ishwar went to meet his date and was killed by two men. They have been identified as girl’s brother-in-law Ramesh (30) and his driver Anil (25) and both have been taken into custody.

In the words of Sandeep Ahlawat, SHO of Sushant Lok Police Station, “We had received information from a hospital about a critically injured man, who was admitted here at around 9 pm last night. We rushed there once we got the information. The hospital again called us at around 1 am, saying the man succumbed to his injuries.”

As per Hawa Singh, CPRO Gurgaon Police, Ishwar and the girl got acquainted with each other on social networking site Facebook and were in contact for the last seven months. He wanted to celebrate Valentine’s Day with her in Gurgaon. On Saturday evening, the girl received him at Huda City Centre Metro Station and from there, she took him to her flat in a multi-storey building in Sushant Lok.
