A huge number of lives are lost every year due to road accidents despite the fact that many measures have been taken by the government and police departments. The bottom line of the matter is that rules can be made by the government and police departments and they can also try their best to make people aware about these rules but in the end, it is the citizens of the country who have to follow them.
Recently, a video is going viral on the Internet in which a couple is seen involved in public display of affection (PDA) but they are doing all this while riding a bike. The guy is driving the bike and he is wearing a helmet but the girl is sitting in front of him, hugging him and she is not wearing a helmet either.
The video was recorded by a Twitter user and it was posted with the caption, “Idiot’s of Delhi Time – 7:15pm Day – Sunday 16-July Outer Ring Road flyover, Near Mangolpuri @dtptraffic”

As the online user tagged the Delhi Traffic Police, the concerned department responded soon with, “Thank you, you are requested to report such traffic violation on Delhi Traffic Police Sentinel App. URL: (For Android users) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dtp.trafficsentinel (For iOS users):”

However, this move backfired and people slammed the Delhi Traffic Police for advising to report on an app rather than taking a strong action against the couple in the video. Some people trolled the Delhi Traffic Police and their app for slow performance, citing that both of them are useless. Here are some selected reactions:

People won't get enough time to report through the app. By the time they start the app the offender will be long gone. Why discourage people from reporting traffic violations?
