Despite Being A Lawyer, I Got FOOLED By PM Modi, Says Ram Jethmalani

PM Narendra Modi and his government are being criticized from all the corners for not bringing the black money back from the foreign countries as they promised during their election campaign. Now the noted Supreme Court Lawyer and member of Rajya Sabha Ram Jethmalani have taken guard against PM Modi and Arun Jaitley. Ram Jethmalani slammed the Modi government and UPA government too, for not doing enough to bring black money back and blamed Arun Jaitley and P Chidambaram for not revealing the names of persons who are having black money deposited in foreign countries.

On Sunday, Ram Jethmalani was in Patna where he was supporting army personnel on the matter of OROP (One Rank One Pension). Ram Jethmalani called himself the “victim of fraud” as he said, “Today I have come here to do ‘penance’ for what I did by promoting Narendra Modi as the leader of the country (before the Lok Sabha polls). I thought that God has sent him as his ‘Aulia’ (representative) for India’s salvation…How I became the victim of fraud.”

He further added, “Both P Chidambaram and Arun Jaitley should be first arrested and prosecuted if we really want to bring back black money. Jaitley…took recourse under the garb of Double Avoidance Tax Treaty (DATT).”
