Nayanthara, the beautiful actress, is currently making headlines because of her recently released documentary and tussle with actor Dhanush.
Now the ongoing controversy surrounding Nayanthara’s open letter to Dhanush took another turn as the actor’s father Kasthuri Raja reportedly responded to her allegations. Nayanthara recently shared an open letter accusing Dhanush of withholding a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the use of footage from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in her documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale. Additionally, she revealed that Dhanush had filed a lawsuit against her, seeking Rs 10 crore for using a three-second clip in the trailer.
While Dhanush is yet to issue a response, a statement attributed to Kasthuri Raja has been circulating online. According to a report published in a leading daily, Kasthuri Raja refuted Nayanthara’s claims, particularly regarding her efforts to obtain the NOC over the past two years. He asserted that Dhanush has been preoccupied with his projects and does not have time to engage with her accusations.
Kasthuri Raja further addressed the situation, saying that work is important for them and they are running ahead because of which they have no time for those who chase them or talk behind their back. He added that like his son, he is also focused on work and Dhanush has said that he doesn’t want to talk about this matter.
The comments have added another layer to the public feud, drawing attention from fans and media alike as both sides navigate the dispute over creative rights and the documentary’s footage.
