The Deol family is one of the most influential families of Bollywood and the wedding of Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol was attended by many big names of the film industry and politics world. Karan Deol got married to Drisha Acharya on 18 June 2023 and as per a source, their relationship can easily be called childhood romance. Drisha is great granddaughter of famous moviemaker Bimal Roy but she is not active in Bollywood.
Though many celebs attended the wedding yet the absence of veteran actress Hema Malini raised some questions and this also made it clear that things are still not on good terms between the two families of veteran actor Dharmendra.
Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol are two sons of Dharmendra with his first wife while he has two daughters, Esha and Ahana from his second wife Hema Malini.
After Karan’s wedding, Dharmendra has shared a cryptic post on Instagram in which he has posted a photo featuring him and Esha Deol. He captioned the post as, “Esha , Ahana , Hema and all my darling kids ……loving Takhtani’s and Vohra’s l love you and respect you all from the core of my heart……age and illness is telling upon me I could have spoken personally to you ……..but”

The caption suggests that Dharmendra is apologizing to Hema Malini, his daughters Esha and Ahana and the respective families (Vohra’s & Takhtani’s) in which they are married.
It seems as if Dharmendra was not happy with the fact that Hema Malini and his daughters along with son-in-laws and their families were not invited in the marriage but he was not in a position to do anything as he needs to take care of both the families and their happiness.
Earlier Esha Deol offered her best wishes to Karan and Drisha but Karan gave no response. Soon after Dharam Paaji’s post, Esha Deol also made a post in which she shared a photo of her marriage in which she is seen with her husband and parents and she wrote, “Love you papa. You are the best. Love you unconditionally & you know that. Cheer up & always be happy & healthy. Love u”.
