The Indian team led by Shikhar Dhawan is having a little fun time in Sri Lanka as the 3-match ODI series has been rescheduled to start from July 18 instead of July 13 as some members of the Sri Lankan group have been tested COVID-19 positive. Shikhar Dhawan has a reputation of an entertainer whether he is on the field or off the field and he ensures that he remains in touch with his fans and followers through social media networks. Recently, the left-handed opener posted a video in which he displayed his skills of playing the musical instrument flute and his teammate Prithvi Shaw was seen giving his voice to the song.
The tune which is being played by Shikhar Dhawan is “Yeh Shaam Mastani” which was sung by the legendary Bollywood playback singer Kishore Kumar for Rajesh Khanna and Asha Parekh starrer 1971 released “Kati Patang”. While Shikhar Dhawan played the music, Prithvi Shaw made it more melodious by singing it in his soft voice.
Dhawan posted the video with the caption, “Thursday tunes featuring our in-house superstar singer Prithvi Shaw”.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has sent the Indian team under the leadership of Shikhar Dhawan to Sri Lanka as the senior team which include players like Rohit Sharma, Mohammad Shami, Ishant Sharma, etc. is in England nowadays and it will be facing the English squad in the 5-match test series under the leadership of Virat Kohli.
The Indian squad for Sri Lanka is relatively less experienced but it is still a very strong team as it has players like Shikhar Dhawan, Hardik Pandya, Prithvi Shaw, etc. who have the ability to play match-winning knocks whenever the team needs. The Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been appointed as the vice-captain of the team while the former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid will serve as the head coach of this Indian squad.
