The T20 match between South Africa and India was too exciting. India smashed a whopping 172 for the loss of 7 wickets; the main credit for this huge score goes to Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan.
At the end of 13 overs, South Africa’s score was just 79 for the loss of 3 wickets. In the 14th over, Suresh Raina was asked to bowl. Now, in the 4th ball of the 14th over, the batsman Christiaan Jonker hit a 4 towards the deep square leg boundary.
This is when Dhoni came to know the exact situation and gave a brilliant advice to Raina.
As we know, the strategies are easily heard on stump mics these days. Once again, Dhoni was caught yelling at Raina. He said, “Dande pe tez mat daalna. Dande pe tez mat daalna. Dande pe tez mat daalna (Don’t ball fast into the stumps. Don’t ball fast into the stumps. Don’t ball fast into the stumps).”
He shouted this not once or twice but thrice. Looks as if Raina ignored his advice & bowled towards the stumps (As opposed to Dhoni’s strategy).
The ball hit the batsman’s pad & once again he hit a boundary. This time, Raina was lucky that he wasn’t abused by Dhoni. However, Dhoni was angry and he flapped his hands in frustration.
