India was sure to win this match but Bangladesh gave a very good fight till last ball. It was a nail biting finish.

India was going good until the 13th over. Manish Pandey & Rohit Sharma were batting and 70 runs were required in last 7 overs. It was cake walk for Indian team but wicket of Rohit Sharma slowed down the match. Vijay Shankar couldn’t connect ball with bat and hence India could score only 36 runs in next 5 overs.

India was 133/5 in 18 overs. With 34 runs required from 12 balls, it was miraculous batting of Dinesh Karthik that saved India.

5 runs were needed in last ball and Dinesh Karthik had hit six, hence helping India clinch the Nidahas trophy. Karthik scored 29 runs in just 8 balls by hitting 2 fours and 3 sixes.
