Dinesh Karthik Slams ECB For Its YouTube Title For Day 1 Highlights About Rishabh Pant

The fifth rescheduled test match between India and England is being played at Edgbaston, no matter which team wins the test match but it will always be remembered for the wonderful cricket which is being played in the on-going test match by both the teams. First it was the English bowlers who tore apart the Indian top order as India lost its five top order batters for less than 100 runs and when everyone felt that even touching 200-mark would be difficult for the visitors, the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant unleashed himself on the English bowlers as he chose to counter them in an aggressive manner.

Pant scored a quick hundred as his century came in 89 deliveries and he departed after scoring a pretty good score of 146 runs for which he played only 111 balls. Rishabh Pant was dismissed on the bowling of Joe Root after he was caught by Zak Crawley. Pant was well supported by Ravindra Jadeja who played his innings in a test style and let Pant do all the hitting.

At the end of day 1, India was 338/7 with Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami on the crease. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) posted a video on its YouTube account which had highlights of the day one with the title – “Joe Root Dismisses Dominant Pant”. This was noticed by the Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik who made his comeback in the team for short format after 3 years and he was certainly not pleased with the headline of the video.

DK posted a screenshot of the YouTube video and wrote, “After such an engrossing, enthralling days play, I’m sure the headline can be much better and apt than this @ECB_cricket That knock by @RishabhPant17  land the quality of test cricket played by both sides were as good as it can be and this is how you sum up a day”.

DK’s tweet has received more than 16K likes and has been retweeted for over 1500 times.
