Yes, Disha is again in limelight for saying that she has no problem in going bald for a role, provided that it’s beneficial for the project’s narrative.
Here’s what she said when IANS asked her if she would ever shave off head on the character’s demand,
“To think of it, my decision will be based on how passionate I am about the script. If I strongly feel it will benefit the narrative, I will go ahead with it.”
She also discussed as to why B-Town divas don’t experiment much with their hairstyle. In her words,
“Most of the actresses have multiple commitments from films to endorsements that require us to maintain a particular look over a long period. Hence, there is never an opportunity to experiment with hair so we just settle for neutral look we can work with across projects.”
She is Garnier Color Naturals’ brand ambassador and states that since she is an actress, it’s obvious for her hair to get exposed to different serums and chemicals and hence, she needs to take more care of her hair.
Disha keeps on oiling her hair on a regular basis which makes her hair nourished as well as stronger than ever. She added,
“I think colouring your hair is the best way to get a new look. Since childhood, my mother made sure I oiled my hair and conditioned them properly every week. I still follow that regimen. Plus, I have naturally good quality hair.”
