Dishoom’s 3rd Day Collections Out! It’s Above & Beyond You’d Imagined Ever

Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and John Abraham starrer Dishoom hit the theaters on 29th July this year and it’s indeed commendable on the part of the movie that despite controversy for a song in the flick, it managed to draw viewers to cinema halls.

The whole credit goes to lovely star cast and not to forget, the superb cameo of Akshay Kumar who made his part in the film memorable in spite of the fact that he appeared on the screen for a short time.

Even though Dishoom could not get good reviews by critics, it’s definitely doing good on the Box Office. Talking of it’s opening day collection, it made earnings of ₹ 11.05 crore in domestic market while on the second day, there was a rise in collections, as the film earned ₹ 12.02 crore. Obviously, the collections were expected to be higher on the third day and the same happened.

On the 3rd day, i.e., Sunday, Dishoom made a collection of whopping ₹ 14.25 crore and with this, the total Box Office collection of the movie so far is ₹ 37.32 crore.

At this point, it’s worth mentioning that Dishoom’s earnings have been much affected on account of heavy rains in various parts of India, like in Mumbai and taking into consideration this, the total collections of the film are quite good!

Not only this, Dishoom comes on the 6th position when it comes to the highest opening weekend of 2016.

Here’s the list:

1. Sultan – ₹ 180.36 crore (extended 5-day weekend)

2. Housefull 3 – ₹ 53.31 crore
