Yesterday i.e. on the 7th of December, TIME Magazine released the Person of the year 2016 as well as the cover and this has indeed surprised everyone. Do you want to know who is the magazine’s choice? Well, it is none other than the President of US, Donald Trump.
Though people are shocked over this choice and are bursting with anger, the magazine has a perfect explanation over this. It goes without a doubt that Trump was the most talked person of 2016 ,either due to his controversies or due to his president-elect. Moreover, his sexist and racist remarks can’t be ignored.
Within few minutes of this announcement people took to Twitter and lashed out at Times Magazine for such a bad choice. The cover has Donald seated on a chair in his rich black suit and the tagline reads “Donald Trump, President of the divided states of America”. This didn’t go down well with Trump, because he thought that using words like “Divided” is not good.
