DON’T BELIEVE RUMORS! Aamir Khan Is Still The Brand Ambassador Of Incredible India - RVCJ Media

It was rumored that Aamir Khan has been removed as the brand ambassador of Incredible India but it all became crystal clear after the clarification made by Tourism Ministry. But if you believed rumors which were going viral as the fire of wood, you must be thinking that it seems India is actually not going to tolerate if anyone makes negative remarks about the country, no matter whether the person giving comment is a celeb or whosoever. Initially, Shah Rukh Khan allegedly made a statement about India being intolerant and we all witnessed how much Dilwale suffered on account of the same. And the next in the list was Aamir Khan who expressed his views on growing intolerance but probably he didn’t know that it would come back to him only. He had to face criticism of the whole nations and processions as well as protests also took place against the actor and now he’s been removed as Incredible India’s brand ambassador, as reported by TOI. Nevertheless, there isn’t any official statement over the matter so far.

If you are still not aware of what Aamir Khan said about India, here it is: “Kiran (Rao) and I have lived all our lives in India. For the first time, she said, should we move out of India? That’s a disastrous and big statement for Kiran to make to me. She fears for her child. She fears about what the atmosphere around us will be. She feels scared to open the newspapers every day. That does indicate that there is a sense of growing disquiet.” He made this statement on 23rd November, 2015. On the basis of this statement, there were rumors of Aamir Khan being removed as Tourism Ministry’s Incredible India campaign’ brand ambassador. Nevertheless, a statement is issued by the Ministry in this connection as a response to such nonsense rumors in which they confirmed that Aamir is still a part of Incredible India and they have a contract with Mc Cann Worldwide for producing some advertisements featuring the actor.

“In response to certain news reports appearing in the media about Shri Aamir Khan, the Ministry of Tourism clarifies that there is no change in the stand of the ministry in this matter,” the statement read. “The Ministry further clarifies that at present it has a contractual agreement with a creative agency, Mc Cann Worldwide to produce social awareness campaign and the said campaign featured Shri Aamir Khan.”
