If You Don’t Write ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ On The Form, You Would Be Denied Admission In This Institution !

The controversy that surrounds ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ started with the suggestion of Mohan Bhagwat, the RSS chief for infusion of patriotism. Now, it is touching new heights.

A day after the comment of CM Devendra Fadnavis on that slogan had triggered it, some educational trust in Gujarat’s Amreli district declared that in order to seek admission, students have to write ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ on the application form. If they fail to write, they won’t get admission.

Dilip Sanghani, the Gujarat BJP leader heads Shree Patel Vidhyarthi Ashram Trust which runs 1 college and 2 schools. Currently, there are 4,500 students studying in these 4 institutes.

Why is it compulsory?

BJP leader stated that the main aim of the trust is inspiring nationalism in the students. Sanghani stated that during the time when this anti-national sloganeering gains momentum on campuses, they want that students should have respect for their country. They have taken the decision of giving admission only to students who write the slogan. Moreover, the trust was founded by Mohan Veerji Patel, who was a freedom fighter. They strongly feel that students must be invoked with a feel of nationalism.
They will implement this new rule from the upcoming term. Students who fail to write ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ on the form wouldn’t get admission, adds the report.
