The MeToo movement has shaken the entire nation as some very big names that were considered to be quite decent and Sanskari came to light and many women, one after another, are breaking their silence and giving an eye-popping description of the s*xual harassment that they faced in their lives.
Indeed, Tanushree Dutta’s accusation against Nana Patekar surprised us a lot but the most shocking one was when Vinta Nanda accused Alok Nath of raping her and subsequently a crew member of the movie “Hum Saath – Saath Hain” and actress Sandhya Mridul also opened up about being harassed by the Most Sanskari Actor of TV and Bollywood.
In a long post on the micro-blogging site Twitter, Sandhya wrote,
“I stand by you Vinta. What I went through is nothing compared to you. More power to you. To us all. I am certain there are others. I urge you to come forward. Your time is up sir.”
After this all, MeToo became a trending topic on Twitter and women are gathering courage to speak their heart out.
Durex, a popular c*nd*m brand, always comes up with the latest trend to promote its product in a unique way and the same happened this time again and we salute their creativity for such a wonderful ad under MeToo campaign.
In a short video, it wrote, “Before you even think about it, get CONSENT” and shared it with caption, “Ask for it. #TimesUp”
