Shefali Jariwala, best remembered as the ‘Kaanta Laga Girl’ has tragically p@ssed aw@y at the age of 42. Her sudden d*ath, confirmed by Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai where she was rushed after suffering a cardiac arrest on the night of June 27, has left the entertainment world in deep shock.
Her husband and actor Parag Tyagi, accompanied by three others, brought her to the hospital but doctors declared her d*ad on arrival. The heartbreaking news got spread quickly across the film and television fraternity, where grief and disbelief have poured in from colleagues and fans alike.
Shefali rose to prominence in 2002 with her bold and energetic performance in the remix music video Kaanta Laga. The video, with its catchy beats and her vibrant screen presence, turned her into a national sensation almost overnight. Her dance moves and unique style resonated especially with the younger generation, making her one of the most recognisable faces in Indian pop culture at the time.
