The actress Esha Deol whom we saw in movies like “Dhoom”, “Yuva”, etc. has got separated from her husband Bharat Takhtani after 11 years of marriage. The couple got married in 2012 and they have two daughters – Radhya (6 yrs) and Miraya (4 yrs).
In a joint statement which has been issued by the couple, they have stated that they taken the decision of getting separated mutually and amicably and they will continue to co-parent their daughters. The couple has also requested everyone to respect their privacy in these difficult times.
The speculations regarding their separation were going on for quite some time and they gained strength when Bharat was not seen in his mother-in-law Hema Malini’s birthday party. Not just this, later on, he also missed his wife Esha’s birthday celebrations.
Esha Deol is the daughter of veteran actor Dharmendra and his second wife Hema Malini and though she also tried her luck in acting, she did not attain much success as her parents did. In 2020, Esha also wrote a book, Amma Mia: Stories, Advice and Recipes from One Mother to Another and in this book, Esha wrote that Bharat was a little angry and irritated with her after the birth of their second daughter, Miraya.
Esha wrote that Bharat felt that he is not getting enough time and attention of Esha which was quite natural because Esha was busy with her daughters, in writing her book and also with her production meetings. Soon Esha understood what errors she was making and she felt bad because she was not able to fulfill his needs especially when he is a man of few needs. In order to keep the romance alive, Esha went out for date nights or movies with Bharat on weekends.
Well, whatever the reason of separation may be but it is really sad that they have decided to separate because they really make a lovely couple.
