Gone are the days when ex-lovers would become arch-enemy… It’s the GEN Y of Bollywood that’s showing us how to bury the hatchet and carry on with dignity. What happened when they were in relationship and why they broke up is no more playing any role in zeroing upon a film.
After Ranbir-Deepika, Salman-Katrina, Ranveer-Anushkha appearing together, it was high time for the estranged ex-couple Shahid & Kareena to follow the suit. And, well the news is that we are going to see the hit ‘Jab We Met’ couple together again. Shahid Kapoor & Kareena Kapoor were in loggerheads so far, so much of grudge that they avoided each other in social gathering and maintained never to be seen together in same frame.
The grapevine suggests that the Kapoor’s are still avoiding each other but the director of ‘Udta Punjab’ has managed to make them share the screen space. Reports suggest that the makers had to shot the scene separately as the couple were highly uncomfortable with each other presence. The two shots, one featuring Shahid and other featuring Kareena, have been merged to make it look as if Shahid and Kareena have shot it together.
Truly, it’s a big task for the director… Nevertheless, we are happy to see them come together..
