We are getting to hear a lot about the Mumbai Indians captaincy saga as the management chose to replace Rohit Sharma with Hardik Pandya for the IPL 2024 but this decision didn’t go well with MI fans and they have left no stone unturned in trolling and booing Hardik Pandya whenever they got a chance.

It is also being said that there is tension and unrest in the MI dressing room and the team is divided into two groups which is having an adverse effect on the performance of the team in the ongoing IPL 2024. In addition, some reports are doing rounds which indicate that Rohit Sharma may leave MI after this season and this has left many guessing as to which team he will join after leaving MI.

Recently, there were reports which suggested that Bollywood actress and Punjab Kings co-owner, Preity Zinta is very much interested in signing Rohit Sharma and making him the captain of her team.

Shikhar Dhawan is the skipper of PBKS but Sam Curran is currently leading the team as Gabbar is injured. Now Preity Zinta has reacted to the reports and made it clear that all these reports are fake. She states that she respects Rohit Sharma a lot but she has never talked about having him in her team. She adds that she respects Shikhar Dhawan a lot and these articles appear to be in a very poor taste because of their timing as Dhawan is injured at the moment.

I also have a lot of respect for Shikhar Dhawan & he being currently injured, makes these articles appear in very poor taste. These articles are a perfect example of how misinformation is picked up without any verification & circulated online. PBKS is currently at the ninth spot in the points table with just 2 wins in 7 matches and their chances of making it to the play-offs are quite poor.
