Farhan Akhtar’s Open Letter About Dadri Case Reveals Its Ugly Side - RVCJ Media

The Dadri murder case is all over the news and social media and now the film stars have also come out on social media to express their opinion.

A person by the name of Mohammad Iqlakh was killed by the crowd on the basis of rumors that he and his family were eating cow meat. The crowd dragged Iqlakh and his son out of the house and thrashed them both; Iqlakh lost his life while his son is still badly injured.

Politicians are flocking there as it is a good time to earn votes while the police of the region are trying to prevent any type of communal violence over there.

In the middle of all this chaos, the multi-talented Farhan Akhtar has used social media as a medium to express his opinion and threw light on some of the points which we refuse to see; even they are in front of us.

“It’s been almost a week now since a man (husband and father) in Dadri, U.P was brutally murdered. He was dragged out of his house and in full view of his family, beaten to death by a mob. His son is in critical condition, doctors still struggling to keep him alive. His wife and daughter will probably never recover from this incident.”

In his post on Facebook, Farhan has talked about Iqlakh and his family and stated that his wife and daughter will never be able to recover from the incident as he was rumored to store or eat beef. Farhan has capitalized the word rumored as it was the only reason he was killed.

“He was rumored to have stored and/or eaten beef. Let me repeat that. He was RUMORED to have stored and/or eaten beef.”

Farhan has requested the public not to forget this incident and demand justice for Iqlakh and his family.

“During this week, another Gandhi Jayanti has passed us by. I know one family in UP that must wonder what happened to the principles that he built this nation on.

Indians killing Indians killing Indians. Let’s face it.. His memory has been completely dishonored.”
