On Sunday, a man (48) lost his life when he was allegedly pushed by his daughter and her boyfriend from the third floor of his house in Noida. This happened after he found them both in a compromising position at 4 am in his daughter’s room. As per the family members, when the victim found a man in his daughter’s room, he first scolded them and later got into fight with the boyfriend.
The name of the victim is Vishwanath Sahu and the accused has been identified as Dharmendra.
Sanjay, Sahu’s son, said,
“My father was pushed from the balcony of the third floor of the building and he fell into the space between our building and the one right next. My sister and Dharmendra immediately fled the spot. We suspect her involvement too because even she did not stay back to check my father’s condition.”
He further said,
“Doctors at Safdarjung hospital told us there was only 5% chance of his survival as he had a serious injury leading to clotting of blood in the head. He passed away around 2.30 pm on Sunday at the hospital.”
Sahu’s wife woke up when she heard the sound of his falling down. Sahu was taken to a local hospital but he was referred to Safdarjung hospital, Delhi.
The family members also told that Dharmendra works as a sales person in a mobile showroom in Khora and the girl was in a relationship with him for the last two years but he was always making excuses whenever they tried to get them married.
Sanjay told,
“He would always dilly-dally when it came to marriage. At times, he would say that his mother was unwell and make different excuses.”
On the basis of complaint made by Sahu’s wife Gayatri, her daughter and Dharmendra had been booked under Section 304A of IPC (death by negligence).
Anil Shahi, SHO of Sector 27 police station, told,
“The woman was arrested early on Monday morning from near her house in Sector 27. Dharmendra is absconding. We are trying to nab him too.”
The relation of a father and daughter is considered to be one of the most sacred relationships and the alleged murder of a father by his own daughter definitely marks the end of humanity and relations. What do you say?
