However, now Lisa in a big legal trouble because of her unprofessional attitude. Abhishek Pathak, the maker of ‘Atithi’ has taken the decision of suing her, since she has backed out from her lead role at the last moment i.e. just 10 days before the shoot was going to start. This has made Abhishek very furious and he says he will take the necessary legal actions against her.

Everything was in place, right from the setup, visas, crew and dates were confirmed too; but suddenly things changed the other way round as Lisa took a back step. Even dates of other actors like Tanvi Azmi, Kartik Aaryan and Paresh Rawal were locked, but now due to this situation, the shooting of ‘Atithi’ is in a complete mess.

Pathak says

“We had locked Lisa for the role, exchanged contracts and even got her visa ready. The set was ready in Filmalaya studio but we got a call from her manager ten days before the schedule that Lisa wasn’t interested in doing the film anymore. Suddenly, I hear from someone that she’s getting married which is why she can’t do our film. We had everything ready, from visas for the entire crew to locations. Now all that money is down the drain. My crew’s work permit visa is valid only for a limited period so I don’t know what to do now,”

Moreover, the filmmaker says that he has lost a lot of money due to her unprofessional attitude and hence, he will sue her. Abhishek says that people like Lisa who come from abroad don’t value the money and efforts put in to make a film.
