BJP has emerged as a winner in the recently concluded state elections in which they have formed government in 4 out of 5 states. However, their victory in Uttar Pradesh is historical and all the other opponent parties are in a rude shock as to how this has happened.
BSP Supremo Mayawati has alleged that the Electronic Voting Machines have been tampered otherwise it is impossible for BJP to win so many seats. Later, the New Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also made the same allegation following the defeat of his party in Punjab elections where they were very sure of making government.
In fact, Delhi CM has demanded that the MCD elections which are going to take place on April 22 should be conducted with Ballot paper and boxes rather than EVMs. However, the election commission has refused to entertain any such demand and stated that EVMs can’t be tampered so there is nothing to worry about.
