First Day Collection Of Aamir Khan Starrer PK Fails To Break ‘Happy New Year’ Record!!!

Aamir Khan’s most awaiting movie of the year “PK” released on Friday (December 19) in more than 5000 Screens Worldwide. Rajkumar Hirani took 5 years to release the movie and his hard work paid off as everyone appreciated the Movie & Aamir Khan acting. All the shows were either houseful or 90% occupied.

Since opening day was not a holiday, it was only managed to make 26.63 Crore on first day. Expectations were huge since all the shows were almost houseful but it failed to beat the record of “Happy New Year” & even his own blockbuster “Dhoom 3”. It is now placed at 7th position in all time highest opening day collection list. On contrary, Happy New Year was released on holiday which made it possible for the movie to grab 44.97 Cr. on opening day.

Weekend collection of this movie is expected to be 80-90 Crore.
