It has been proved once again that what critics think about a movie, the audiences are not concerned with it at all as Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh has made record collections on its opening day and it is being called the second biggest opening of any Telugu movie after Baahubali. It has been reported that in USA only, the movie has made collections of US $644,000 on the opening day which is again a record considering the history of Telugu cinema.

The trade experts are hoping that the collections will increase on the weekend. The movie was made in Rs. 70 crore so it will be no doubt a hit if it surpasses this figure.

While on the other hand, The Jungle Book has also performed wonderfully on the box office on its opening day by earning Rs. 10.9 crore in India. What’s more, it has become the second biggest opener of the year after Akshay Kumar’s Airlift.
