Women centric movies have become very common these days and the recent one to hit the screens is Alia Bhatt’s Razi. Alia has been a fabulous actress and she has proved her talent every now and then.
In Raazi, a film by Meghna Gulzar, Alia Bhatt essays the character of a spy Sehmat who gets married into a Pakistani family just for keeping the Indian authorities informed. This film is based on a novel by Harinder Sikka “Calling Sehmat”. After Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, Alia was not to be seen on big screen.
Despite Raazi being a women-centric film, the response has been good. Here’s what Taran Adarsh tweeted about the collections;

On the opening day, Raazi has earned a whopping 7.53 crores. Taran Adarsh labelled the numbers as “Exceptional”. With positive word of mouth, the numbers are sure to grow over the weekend.
Trade experts are expecting around 25 crores for Raazi on the 1st weekend. With 7.53 crores, Raazi has become the 5th highest opener of 2018. Also, it has become the highest opener for a women-centric film.
