Forbes Magazine released its annual list of 15 highest-paid female athletes of 2019 who earned at least $5 million from 1 June 2018 to 1 June 2019.
The list is dominated by the ace tennis player and 23 times Grand Slam Serena Williams with the total earning of 29.2 million USD as said by the magazine.
Naomi Osaka who won the 2018 US open defeating 23 times Grand Slam winner Serena Williams secured the second position with her total earnings of 23.4 million USD.
Indian badminton star PV Sindhu even grabbed a spot and became the only Indian to be named among the Worlds highest-paid athlete with her total earnings of $5.5 million including prize money, salaries, endorsements, appearance fee and bonuses. Sindhu is tied for the 13th position along with Thai golfer Ariya Jutanugarn $5.3 million.

Angelique Kerber pulled up to the third position with the total earning of 11.8 USD from tennis.

Pliskova has won over four events in the last year with her total earnings of $6.3 million.
9. Elina Svitolina
Elina’s total earning of 6.1 million USD.
10. Venus William
Venus William’s total earning is 5.9 million sharing the spot with tennis player Garbine Muguruzu.
