Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi is once again in news and the reason is not related to cricket. If you remember, earlier he was praised for not just getting clicked with the Indian Tri-colour but also for asking the fan to hold it properly before getting clicked.
However, this time he is getting trolled for making an inappropriate tweet against India and the Indian Army.
He tweeted,
“Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence. Wonder where is the @UN & other int bodies & why aren’t they making efforts to stop this bloodshed?”

This tweet didn’t go well with Indians and they trolled him mercilessly. But the epic reply was given by Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir who not only called Shahid immature but also said that for Shahid, UN means Under-Nineteen. He also added that Shahid is celebrating for wicket which has fallen on a no-ball.

Shahid tried to control the situation by sending out one more tweet in which he is seen with the Indian flag.
He tweeted,
“We respect all. And this is an example as sportsman. But when it comes to human rights we expect the same for our innocent Kashmiris.”

Earlier, Shahid said that Indian cricketers should be invited to play in Pakistan Super League and more bilateral series should take place between both the countries.
On April 1, former Pakistani cricketer and politician Imran Khan also made a baseless tweet, alleging that the Indian Army is killing innocent people in Indian occupied Kashmir.
He tweeted,
“Strongly condemn the brutality of Indian forces against innocent Kashmiris and the killing of unarmed civilians in IOK. The people of Pak stand with the Kashmiris democratic struggle for self determination. The UNSC must act against Indian aggression in IOK.”

We have to accept that response given by Gautam Gambhir to Shahid Afridi is definitely the best one and if this can’t make them understand the reality, nothing else can. What do you say?
