This 21 year old girl found no other option but to end up her life after seeing this….Yes, Vinupriya from Salem was shocked when she saw a semi-nude picture of hers on a Facebook page. Finding no other way, Vinupriya chose to commit suicide.
Annadurai, her father, who is an owner of a powerloom was so shocked that he even refused to bring her body after post-mortem unless and until the culprit is arrested. He stated that “I will not receive the body of my daughter unless the culprit who was responsible for my daughter’s death is arrested,”
However, it is surprising to note that the Facebook page on which her semi-nude picture was being displayed just disappeared after Vinupriya committed suicide. Annadurai said that her daughter had just completed her graduation i.e. B.Sc last year and wasn’t even employed. Last week, after finding this picture Vinupriya informed her parents who further lodged a complaint with Cyber Cell on the 23rd of June. The police officials told her father that they were chasing the culprit and he would soon be caught within 15 days.
Now, on Sunday, another pic of hers was posted on Facebook, the link of which was sent on her mobile. Her father said “Vinupriya was very disturbed by her picture. And when we went out on Monday morning, she hanged herself,” Annadurai also stated that for speeding up the process, he brought a mobile phone worth Rs 2000 and gave it to the cops. He further added “They got the cellphone from me and did not take proper action. And my daughter is now no more,”
Police have seized the suicide note left by Vinupriya and now, they are looking for the culprit.
