The women community may have faced many problems and lived under a plethora of restrictions in the past but now they are breaking all the shackles and making their presence felt in every walk of life, be it aviation, navy, defence, hospitality, medical, technology, civil services and what not!
Here in this article, we are going to tell you about one such individual who has fought all the odds and earned accolades for her achievements.
We are talking about Hana Mohsin Khan, a media and events professional who has now turned into a commercial pilot. She was born in Saudi Arabia and interestingly, women were banned from driving there at that time. However in 2018, this ban was removed and now women can sit behind the wheels so they don’t need to rely on men for travelling from one place to another.
Recently, Hana Mohsin Khan landed her aircraft in her country of birth and she posted a tweet in which she wrote, “Landed the aircraft for the first time in a country I grew up in! Last time I was here, women weren’t allowed to drive! The feeling is surreal!”

Hana Mohsin Khan was also among those 80 women who were targeted by Github app which was a fake online auction app in which Muslim women were sold under the category: Sulli deal of the day; Sulli is disrespectful word for Muslim women.
