These days, rapes, sexual abuse and molestation have become very common. Everyday, such gruesome incidents hit the headlines; it’s shameful to see that no actions are being taken to curb these things. This is indeed the harsh reality of our Indian society; women safety is of utmost importance but hardly any attention is given to it.

Even at public places, women are unsafe. Few days back, we reported about how a man filmed a girl in the metro and how she taught him a lesson.
Today another girl named Megha has shared a horrifying experience through her Twitter handle. She’s a student of electronics at BITS Pilani and has narrated her scary experience at a Delhi metro station in a series of tweets.
Recently, she travelled by a metro and it proved to be a nightmare for her. Check out her series of tweets..

“End note: I’m shaken. Not scared. Only and only angry. Women deserve better.”
Where were the police officials and security when this girl actually needed help? Delhi metro stations are always crowded and such incidents are least expected there.
Don’t you think appropriate steps must be taken so that women feel safe?
