On 24 March, a college-going girl’s father was imprisoned for 20 years accompanied by a fine of Rs. 2 lacs on the charges of sexually abusing his daughter from the time she was studying in 6th standard.
As soon as the verdict took place, the man’s wife along with his kids burst into tears and the son who is 13 pleaded for his father’s innocence.
On June 23, the so-called victim girl lodged a complaint against her father saying he had been raping her from the time when she was 11. Subsequent to registering a case against him, the daughter began to live with a teacher.
On the other hand, her mother maintained that she is taking vengeance against him because her father caught the girl with boyfriend in the act; hence gave him a tight slap.
Conversely, the appellant accused her father of stepping in the bathroom, touching in an uncommon way when she bathed. Not only this, the girl declared that he raped her after college in forest on a regular basis.
