In 2018, Salman would be back with his film Race 3. As usual, it’s going to be the Eid slot again, but there’s going to be a risk at the same time. If reports are to be believed, Race 3 will be clashing with Aishwarya Rai starrer Fanney Khan.
It would be exciting to see 2 ex-lovers Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai clashing at the Box Office. Yes, if reports turn out to be true, we will get to see the most sizzling clash. Fanney Khan stars Rajkummar Rao and Irrfan Khan and they too selected the Eid slot for the film’s release.
The producers of Fanney Khan gave a confirmation of the same to a leading daily and said,
“We have locked the release date of Fanney Khan on Eid 2018 (June 15). We decided on Eid because the lead character Fanney Khan, played by Anil Kapoor, is a Muslim character and there’s no better day than Eid (to release it).”
No one must have thought that even such a box office clash could happen. Well, both the stars are big and there’s a possibility of collections of Race 3 and Fanney Khan being affected.
Clashes are never good because audience gets confused as to which movie is better, which in turn leads to division.
A trade expert says that this will be an exciting clash because both Aishwarya as well as Salman enjoy a huge fan base. Will this prove to be a good decision? Will the businesses of both the movies be affected? We need to wait and watch now!
