Twitter has always served as a platform for people to spit out their own frustration on their favourite superstars. Be it sportpersons, actors, directors, singers or dancers, Twitterati doesn’t spare anyone. No matter how successful you are in your profession, Twitterati will always find a way to troll you.
In a recent such incident, a Twitter user who states himself of being a sports journalist, went a step ahead and wished death upon Goldberg. Robert Winland, who was upset with Goldberg outsmarting Kevin Owens in the ring, went a bit too far in his bid to criticize Goldberg.
This is what actually happened inside the four-cornered ring that resulted in such staunch criticism for Goldberg.
Since his return as a part-timer to WWE, Goldberg, aged 50, has been involved in a couple of high-octave matches against the likes of Brock Lesnar and Kevin Owens.
At a recent WWE Special event, Fastlane, Goldberg defeated Kevin Owens and booked a fight with Brock Lesnar for the world title at Wrestlemania 33. Goldberg needed just a Spear and a Jackhammer and a bit of disturbance from Chris Jericho to defeat Kevin Owens.
After this controversial victory of Goldberg, a fan of WWE wished death upon the reigning Universal champion. This is what Robert Winland had to say to Goldberg.
