Chandan Prabhakar has always been one of the famous and talented names in Kapil Sharma’s team. The comedy artist has made us laugh through his various avatars and acts in The Kapil Sharma Show and even Comedy Nights With Kapil.
Now there are new developments in Chandan Prabhakar’s career as he is all set to add one more feather in his cap.
The talented comedian is all set to wear the director’s hat as he will be helming an upcoming Punjabi comedy love story.
The film i.e untitled as of now will have 31st Oct actress Sezal Sharma in the lead and will be produced by Yadu Productions.
Reportedly, the actress who has worked with actors like Soha Ali Khan & Vir Das earlier will be playing the role of an Indo – Canadian girl and the plot revolves largely around her.
Sezal Sharma in a press statement said-
“I’ve known Chandan for a while but everyone who knows Chandan will agree that in work related matters, he is quite a perfectionist. Through I was on his mind for this role, I had to give four auditions post which I got selected. I begin shooting for this film in August.”
It would be interesting to see if Chandan continues doing The Kapil Sharma Show after he starts shooting for his film. Director’s job is not easy after all. But we believe in Chandan’s talent and wish him all the very best for his upcoming venture.
