Earlier, some pictures of Govinda along with Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor had gone viral over the the internet. We were happy to see those Jagga Jasoos stills and were waiting to see Govinda once again on big screen. However, this excitement was short-lived, because his part has been chopped off from the film.
Yes, you heard it right! In spite of giving a brilliant performance , Govinda’s part has been deleted by the makers.
This was clarified by Anurag Basu himself; he said that, Govinda had shot for the movie in the 1st schedule, but after that there were many changes in the script. Since his role didn’t match the script, the scenes had to be removed. Basu added that it was just a guest appearance.
Govinda’s team had contacted the makers to include his scenes, but all in vain. Now, Govinda is miffed off with the filmmakers and has posted a series of tweets on his Twitter handle.
