The decision of demonetization taken by Modi Govt. has received mixed reactions and responses ever since it has been announced by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On one hand, there are many who have welcomed it whole-heartedly and are of the opinion that it will be proved to be beneficial for the country in future while on the other, some people have criticized it, saying that it has increased the problems of common man to a great extent and even resulted in painful demises of few individuals due to unavailability of proper medication and treatment because of shortage of cash, exertion, anxiety, work pressure etc.
And now Dalip Singh Rana aka The Great Khali has expressed his views over the big step and Modi supporters will be glad to know what he has to say.
Lately in Delhi, he got to meet Narendra Modi and like many Bollywood celebs, he also appreciated the revolutionary move of demonetization, saying that it will definitely prove to be helpful in long run even though it might be causing little inconvenience presently.
In his words,
“He (Modi) has taken this decision in the interest of the country. I wanted to congratulate him. I told him that it is good for the country though there are some difficulties being faced by the people. But it is temporary and it will help the country in the long run.”
