The calculation of the brand value of an athlete has been done by deducting the average earnings of top 10 athletes of the same sport by the earning of that particular athlete. The earnings of the athletes didn’t include salary and bonus from the sport and income from investments.

Brand value of Virat Kohli:

The brand value of Indian skipper Kohli is more than the legendary footballer Lionel Messi, golf player Rory McIlroy and Stephen Curry of Golden State Warriors. The top spot has been secured by Roger Federer while the football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is at number four and Kohli is at number seven.
