A very rare thing would be seen during the IPL this year. The team would sport 2 sets of Jerseys. The RCB or Royal Challenge Bangalore team has the most star studded outfit among 8 teams and on Thursday, the home and away jerseys were showcased for 2016 season.
It is the 2nd team in IPL which follows what the football teams do since so many years. The same was done by Rajasthan Royals in the 2010 season but it didn’t click. There is a likelihood of other IPL franchises following suit soon and having 2 sets of jerseys for the players.
Both these jerseys are significant departures from the previous edition jerseys. Red is the main color for the home jersey of RCB, but yellow and blue are replaced with black. Talking about the away jersey, red is the secondary color and black is the main one.
This change has happened according to the change in management. Earlier, Kingfisher were the main sponsors but now Hero Cycles have replaced them.
