Now, Ranveer Singh here plays an underground rapper, whose desi hip-hop artist look is already creating buzz everywhere. Now, Ranveer himself sung two songs in the album.
Yes, you read that right. Apna Time Aayega and Asli Hip Hop are the two songs by Ranveer himself, who sung it with passion and enough interest to make those an instant hit.
Ranveer himself said that he was in class 3 or 4, when he started liking hip-hop. He used to listen to The Notorious Big, Snoop Dog and Tupac Shakur.
He even remembered mugging up Tupac’s ‘All Eyez On Me’, when he was little. But, with Eminem’s debut he became his favorite. The American Rapper is the reason behind his inclination towards this genre.
He even confessed that his quirky style sense and his earlier styles were all inspired by his favorite rapper, whom he used to follow fanatically.
He even remembers staying up late and watching MTV, for those songs. There was also a cousin of his who used to bring back those musics back from the US just for him.
Now, all we have to do is wait and watch what desi hip hop is actually like!
