Harbhajan Singh always hits the news for all the wrong reasons. Often, he takes to social media to express his opinions, but many a times, netizens don’t accept it.
He had even taken a sarcastic dig at Dhoni when he wasn’t selected for 2017 Champions Trophy. The moment he did so, Twitter started pouring in angry reactions.
Bhajji has landed himself in hot soup once again by posting a derogatory tweet against Sri Lankan team. He deleted the tweet later, but till then, Twitter had already noticed it. Well, Sri Lanka is all set to come to India for the 3 test-match series which will start on the 16th of November.
Sri Lankan opener Dimuth Karunaratne had said that the team is ready to accept challenge from the Virat Kohli led team. Bhajji’s tweet was a reaction to this statement. Sri Lanka didn’t perform well in recent series against Zimbabwe and Bhajji got a chance to troll them.
He tweeted;
The tweet read,
“Same way how they did in recent series.. they r getting beaten by Zimbabwe.. 1st inn 200 second inn 150. Sri Lankan team at their lowest so sad to see them like this.. hope they will revive and get to international level.”
He asked them to get to the “International level”. We are waiting for Sri Lankan team to react to this statement.
