Fans of KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya are quite concerned about the fact as to when their favorite players will be back on the field but we are sorry to let them know that their return will be delayed for some more time.
On Thursday, the Supreme Court has postponed the hearing related to the case till the next week as the Amicus curiae senior advocate Gopal Subramanium resigned from him post. Senior advocate PS Narasimha has been appointed as the new Amicus curiae by the court which has stated that the next hearing will take place only after new Amicus curiae is ready to appear in the court.
It is not just the hearing related to Rahul and Hardik’s case is affected but hearing of many other cases is also delayed because of the resignation of Gopal Subramanium.
The Committee of Administrators (CoA) has told the court about the comments made by the two players in the talk show of Karan Johar “Koffee With Karan”. It also sought instructions on the matter of appointing the ombudsman for investigating the matter and deciding on the quantum of punishment.
The CoA has submitted its inquiry report to the court and also said that it won’t be correct to make players wait unnecessarily. CoA chief Vinod Rai recommended two-match ban for the players but another member of CoA presented the matter in the legal cell which advised that an ombudsman should be appointed as the actions of the players don’t violate the code of conduct.
