Posting the image on Monday, Zeenat Aman paired it with a note full of dry humour and quiet confidence. She joked that the headline clearly didn’t age well, though she appreciated that the magazine at least chose a flattering photograph. With her signature sarcasm, she pointed out that while the publication predicting her downfall no longer exists, she continues to thrive especially in today’s OTT-driven entertainment space.
She used the moment to share a larger message about resilience, reminding followers that criticism is temporary and perseverance lasts far longer. Quoting a younger co-actor from a recent set, she lightly added that negativity will always exist but it doesn’t deserve too much attention.

This was not the first time Zeenat Aman used social media to reflect on her career and the evolution of Hindi cinema. Zeenat Aman was clear that she does not support either approach. She shared that while light-hearted banter and mischief can be part of romance, the film industry often pushed these ideas too far. According to her, many movies ended up glorifying obsession rather than showing healthy, mutual love.
Looking back, the actor candidly admitted that she, too, was part of promoting unrealistic ideas of romance through her work. With honesty and self-awareness, she acknowledged how Bollywood’s portrayal of love has shaped expectations for generations.
