Christian Thornton, a teenage criminal aged 17 felt everything was just perfectly planned before he hit a convenience store on Tuesday in Keysville, Georgia for cash. He was well-built, tall and had a gun. However, he didn’t know that the store was manned by Bhumika Patel, a woman from India, who was literally half his size.

When he struck the store, Thornton must have never imagined in his wildest thoughts that such a thing would happen. Later, CCTV footage of the attack was released. This footage showed how Thornton paid money to Patel for a Mountain Dew soda, immediately after which he takes out his gun and points it at her face and threatens her to empty the cash drawer and hand it over to him.
On being ordered to empty the entire contents, Bhumika Patel stated that she cannot hand over the money and he can shoot her if he wishes to. This thing was not at all expected by Thornton. Then, Bhumika wrestled the guy by swatting the gun pointed toward her, later pummeling him on his head with the cash register. This attack was definitely a brave and ferocious one.
This is not the end! When Thornton tried fleeing away, Patel grabbed hold of a hammer near her and turned to go out of the counter, for following the robber, who was trying to make his way out. Burke County Deputies arrested him on Wednesday. He is charged with Possession of Firearm, Aggravated Assault and Criminal Armed Robbery. Enjoy the footage below:
