He Is A Coolie’s Son, Failed In Class 6 But Now Owns A 100 Crore Company

From a failure in class six to an owner of a company with Rs. 100 crore turnover, P C Mustafa’s life journey is something which can inspire everyone. Mustafa’s company ID Fresh has its presence in the Indian cities Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mangaluru and it is also a known name in the city of Dubai.

Mustafa’s father was a daily wage earner in a plantation in Wayanadu, Kerela, Mustafa was the eldest among his siblings and he used to go to school and also help his father in earning so the their family can meet their daily needs. Mustafa decided to quit school after he failed in class six but his Mathematics teacher “Mathew Sir” talked to him and persuaded him to continue his school. Mustafa was good in Mathematics and that’s why Mathew Sir knew his capabilities.

The motivation and guidance of Mathew Sir did wonders and Mustafa not only topped in class 7th but he went on to study engineering after school and he worked in MNCs like Motorola and Citibank after becoming Engineer.

PC Mustafa was working in an MNC in Dubai, suddenly he made a decision to quit his job and start his own business. He was not sure of what business he should start, that’s when selling batter of idli and dosa strike him and he started it with a small capital of Rs. 25,000.

PC Mustafa who is 42 years old now, talks about his business venture and future plans, “When we became a Rs 100 crore company in October, we celebrated in grand scale. We have grown from producing 10 packets a day in 2005, with just my cousin managing the kitchen, to 50,000 packets a day with 1,100 employees in 10 years. If you have the passion to start something, do it immediately. Don’t wait for tomorrow.”
