The actress turned politician Hema Malini is one of the most famous celebs of India and she is a very strong woman who has lived her life on her own terms in an unapologetic manner.
The actress is married to veteran actor Dharmendra and they both have two daughters – Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. In a recent interview, the veteran actress talked about her life and her daughters. She says that she has two daughters who have been brought up in a good manner and the best part is that their father Dharmendra was always there for them.
She added that Dharmendra used to be worried about one thing and that was the marriage of their daughters, he wanted to get them married soon but she used to tell him that everything would happen at the right time, the right person will surely come and it happened with the blessings of the God and Guru Ma.
Dharmendra got married to Hema Malini without divorcing his first wife, Prakash Kaur and he lives with his first wife and family. Hema Malini has also talked about living separately from Dharmendra, she says that there is no doubt a woman wants a husband and kids just like normal family but somewhere things went out of the way. She adds that she is neither regretting nor sulking, she is happy with herself and her life.
Recently, a controversy erupted after Hema Malini and her daughters were missing from the wedding of Dharmendra’s grandson Karan Deol. After that Dharmendra made a post on social media platform in which he apologized to his daughters and their in-laws as they were not invited in the marriage. He posted a photo of himself with daughter Esha and posted, “Esha , Ahana , Hema and all my darling kids ……loving Takhtani’s and Vohra’s l love you and respect you all from the core of my heart……age and illness is telling upon me I could have spoken personally to you ……..but”

While Hema Malini didn’t react to Dharmendra’s apology, Esha Deol came out in support of her father by telling him that they love him a lot.
