Here’s What Kapil Sharma Tweeted About Udta Punjab Controversy!

With the growing controversies smoked around Udta Punjab, it is now, ace comedian Kapil Sharma who has stretched his hand for support and expressed his feelings on the depressing state of Punjab.

Showing “Babaji ka Thullu” to the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) board, this “Kis Kis Ko Pyar Karu” actor twitted Tuesday to support the Abhishek Chaubey directorial. He also added that if anybody says that there are no illegal medicines or drugs in Punjab, may be they don’t know the real story behind it.

Previously, Anurag Kashyap had lashed out on CBFC board for demanding a modification of the narrative with as many as 89 cuts and also asked to drop “Punjab” from the title. The film fraternity has vehemently protested the CBFC act and blamed the political parties for creating pressure is the main reason for opposing the film.

Let us see what decision the board takes!
