The financial year has almost come to an end and the list of B-Town’s highest advance tax payers is out. The calculations are done on the basis of the amount paid by the stars till 15th of March 2017. Basically, advance tax is 33 percent of the income which is earned in the financial year. Can you guess who’s the highest advance tax payer? Well, it is Salman Khan, who has dethroned Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar, to pay the highest advance tax in 2016-2017.
On the other hand, Kapil Sharma’s amount has surprised everyone; his income saw a 206% growth and that too in just a year. Aamir Khan is enjoying a 54 percent growth, by paying Rs 14 crores as advance tax.
Akshay Kumar’s income has shocked everyone; it has shown a negative trend. Although he gave 3 hits last year, the income went down (Although slightly). Let’s have a look at the details;
1) Salman Khan!
Salman has paid a total of Rs 44.5 crores as advance tax in 2016-2017 as opposed to Rs 32.2 crores last year i.e. in 2015-2016, thereby showing a 39 percent growth.
2) Akshay Kumar!
Akshay Kumar showed a negative trend, but the difference is not much; in 2015-2016, he paid Rs 30 crores, but in 2016-2017, he paid Rs 29.5 crores.
3) Hrithik Roshan!
Hrithik Roshan occupies the 3rd position by paying Rs 25.5 crores as advance tax; in 2015-2016, he had paid Rs 14 crores, which means a 74 percent growth this year.
4) Kapil Sharma!
Kapil Sharma is earning really good due to his show “The Kapil Sharma Show”; in the last financial year, he paid Rs 7 crores, but this year, he paid Rs 23.9 crores. Excellent growth!
5) Ranbir Kapoor!
Ranbir Kapoor follows Kapil; there’s a 27 percent decline in his income. Last fiscal year, he paid Rs 22.3 crores, but this year, he paid just Rs 16.5 crores.
6) Aamir Khan!
Aamir Khan’s income was unexpected; although there’s a 54 % growth, the amount seems low. He paid Rs 14.8 crores this year, as opposed to Rs 9.6 crores last year.
7) Karan Johar!
Woaah! There’s a 473 percent growth in Karan’s income; last year he paid Rs 2 crores, but this year, he paid Rs 11.7 crores.
8) Deepika Padukone!
Deepika made her debut in Hollywood with “XXX: Return of Xander Cage” and hence, a boost was but obvious; a 13 percent growth is seen as compared to last year. In 2015-2016, she paid Rs 9 crores, while this year, she paid Rs 10.25 crores.
9) Alia Bhatt!
Alia Bhatt who’s becoming quite popular in B-Town has shown a whopping 46% percent growth. Last year, she paid Rs 2.9 crores while this year, she paid Rs 4.33 crores.
10) Kareena Kapoor!
Kareena Kapoor’s motherhood has led to a dip in her income; there’s a 44 % decline. Last year, she paid 7 crores, but this year, she paid just Rs 3.9 crores.
Salman has proved to be the king of B-Town & no one could stop him from ruling the charts! The IT department didn’t reveal the details of SRK, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Big B because investigation is going on with regards to the Panama Papers leak case.
